This notice explains how Stomps handles information you provide when requesting a data assessment and how optional website analytics works.

What the form collects

The form asks for your name, work email, company name and country. It also asks for your type of business, employee count, years operating, historical records retained and how far back they go. Your company website, systems used and who owns or controls the records are optional. Please leave out confidential details and personal information about customers, employees or other people.

How we use your enquiry

We use these details to review your enquiry, contact you about the next step and continue the conversation if you wish. Submitting the form does not grant a licence to your business records.

Any later introduction to a prospective data partner would use introductory information agreed with you. Sharing samples or business records requires a separate discussion about permissions, use and handling.

Services involved

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes form submissions. Resend delivers the enquiry notification and confirmation email. Enquiries and replies are kept in the email systems we use through Google Workspace. These services may process information outside Canada.

The website also processes connection information, including your IP address, to serve the page and limit repeated submissions.

Website analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics uses cookies to help us understand page visits and completed enquiries. It receives information such as the page visited, browser and device type, and approximate location. We send a completion event after a successful enquiry, without the form contents. We do not send your name, email, company, business record description, or URL query strings and fragments to Analytics. Automatic form interaction tracking and advertising personalisation are disabled.

Analytics does not load until you allow it. You can choose “No thanks” and still use the site and enquiry form. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to six months. Use Cookie preferences to change your choice. Declining after previously allowing analytics stops future measurement and removes the Analytics cookies used by this site; it does not erase information already processed by Google.
